Blue sky, brilliant beach and gorgeous pools! If you see those, you must be distracted by them. Unfortunately, these ‘attractive’ items tend to be memorised despite that the items are irrelevant for the current goal. I introduced the foregoing study in the absolutely right place. That is, I had a poster presentation at the 21st Conference of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology held in Tenerife island in Spain. In the venue, a pile of bananas were put on the tables as snacks. My eyes and memory storage were pretty distracted by such tropical and colourful things in Tenerife as our poster. (Tanabe, Ishibashi)
