Everyone may experience looking away though they intend to concentrate in class. Our study of a memory task with recording of eye movements indicate that looking at study-irrelevant items may lead to memory error of remembering the irrelevant items. This stugy was published as an article entitled ”Control of bottom-up attention in scene cognition contributes to visual working memory performance” in Attention, Perception, & Psychophysics.(Tanabe) https://doi.org/10.3758/s13414-023-02740-2
