The spread of artificial intelligence (AI) may change the way we see ourselves as human beings. How should we develop a theory of "self" development to anticipate this change and envision a healthy future? I made a presentation on "The Three-Layer Model of the Self and the Eight Factors of the Power to Live with Disasters" at the "Self" Study Group Symposium, which envisions a new theory of "self" development with a view to adapting to an AI society.
