202303.08 Psychological and brain processes of tsunami evacuation decision making (symposium presentation) Posted in RESEARCH

When making a decision to evacuate from a tsunami in the event of an earthquake, what kind of psychological processes are associated with evacuation decision-making when numerical information such as magnitude and sensory information such as shaking and sound are provided, respectively? We analyzed the relationship between behavioral outcomes and personality traits, and the differences in brain responses in an evacuation decision-making task using scenarios, and reported the results as "Research on the psychological and behavioral characteristics of individuals involved in disasters and their evaluation, utilization, and adjustment" in the FY2022 The results were reported at the Symposium of the "Research Project on Earthquake and Volcano Observation to Contribute to Disaster Mitigation (2nd stage)".
