Investigating the Neural Substrate of Emotional and Reasoning Thinking in Moral Decision-making (Poster Presentation)

We investigated the neural substrates of emotional and reasoning thinking in the process of decision-making in moral dilemmas like the trolley problem. With fMRI data, it was found that the neural substrates of these two systems are partially independent and partially overlapping. This result was presented in a poster presentation at the Society of Social Neuroscience at Tsukuba. I have received many inspiring ideas from other researchers and they were very helpful. (Liu Yu)
