202211.16 Is self-evaluation related to the feeling of being accepted? (Poster Presentation) Posted in RESEARCH

Negative self-evaluation is associated with social acceptance and rejection. Previous research has found that people would negatively evaluate themselves to show humility, which can gain social acceptance and avoid rejection. In this study, we found a significant correlation between sense-of-rejection and sense-of-acceptance with the brain activation of self-evaluation. We presented these results at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience 2022 (Ding).
