202303.18 Social Attitude Change by Infection Concerns (Symposium Presentation) Posted in RESEARCH

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have focused on quantitative numbers in physical changes to infectious diseases. But what changes does infection bring about in the psychological state of individuals? The results of our analysis of changes in infection vulnerability perceptions and collectivist characteristics due to image stimuli were presented at the 3rd SDGS-ID Symposium on March 18, 2023, under the title "Social Attitude Changes Due to Infection Concerns". During the Q&A session, we received valuable comments from researchers from various fields, such as "It seems that this is actually happening among my patients," and "This psychological model seems to explain it," and we were able to exchange ideas across fields on the theme of infectious diseases.
