Motoki and Sugiura 2018 shows that incidental emotion influences later food preference. Incidental disgust (vs. sadness) more decreases food preference. The effect is specific for food preference but not for household products preference. The study was just published in Frontiers in Psychology: Eating Behavior.(Motoki)
