Human brain science for the future
Super aging society, increasing disasters, and ‘smart’ society to come; how do these environmental and social changes affect our lives and values? From the perspective of cognition and brain science, we aim to make proposals on the future of human life, technology and society.

In the car driving situation there are lots of hazardous events such as pedestrian rush out and brake of the car ahead. Here, we conducted an fMRI experiment examining the brain activity that predicts the performance of hazard perception. We found the association between the superior temporal gyrus activity and the performance for pedestrian rush out. I gave a poster presentation at the conference of The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SSI2019). (Oba)
