201810.06 Whose 'body' is it? (Symposium) Posted in RESEARCH

I gave a talk at a symposium entitled "Whose 'body' is it? -Exploring the commonality and difference between body representations of self and others" at the 82nd Annual Convention of the Japanese Psychological Association. Apart from my talk about healthy people's 'hand' representations, three other speakers provided intriguing data acquired from various targets including brain-damaged patients, infants, and even Capuchin monkeys. Though no immediate answer to the question in the title was possible, I could make a fresh resolution to proceed the research until I get more convincing results to support my hypotheses.
