Humans create a society through communication, and language is its powerful tool to convey feelings and move people. Elucidation of the neural bases of these functions and their acquisition is expected to contribute to understanding humanity and to educational applications.

Various computer interation systems have supported our life since the last decade. Virtual avatars ("avatars") are one of the cutting-edge technology in this field. Furthermore, many past studies alread reported that synchronization or mimic the movements of users can improve avatar impressions and develop better relationship between avatars and users. However, it is not clear whether the avatar's blink synchronization on communication quality. Therefore, we try to clarify the effect of avatar blink on user's emotion and avatar impression in storytelling task.
I presented the poster based on this topic at the Young Ensemble Workshop (@ Sakura Hall on The Katahira Campus, Tohoku U). I was nervous about my first poster presentation, but it was a valuable experience for me. (Fujita)
