Humans create a society through communication, and language is its powerful tool to convey feelings and move people. Elucidation of the neural bases of these functions and their acquisition is expected to contribute to understanding humanity and to educational applications.

From our behavioral research, it is found that "sharing concerns" is one of the motivation to continue the daily dialogues.
In this study, we investigated the brain areas related to motivation behind dialogues using the conversation task with avatars. We gave an oral presentation of the results at "The 5th Coregulating Social Brain Group(CSBG)" in Hakone-Yumoto, Japan.
It was nice to have discussion with researchers from various fields in the nature of Hakone. The workshop included various themes and had idea exchanges. Furthermore, I got exposure to VR technology in this event which was a valuable experience for me.
