202103.12 Gaps in Residents' Perceptions of Precautious Alert for the Nankai-Trough Mega-Earthquake (Project Interim Results Briefing) Posted in RESEARCH

In response to the precautious alert released when the possibility of a Nankai Trough earthquake increases, residents in some coastal areas are asked to evacuate in advance. Research has revealed that, on this issue, there are various gaps between the perceptions of residents and the reality or expectations of local governments.  We presented a mid-term report on the survey results at an interim report meeting held online by the "Interdisciplinary Project on Special Information on Nankai Trough Earthquake" of IRIDeS, Tohoku University.
