How Language Shapes Emotion: An fMRI Study of Emotion Verbalization in First and Second Languages (Poster Presentation)

I just finished a poster presentation at this year's Society for the Neurobiology of Language (SNL) conference held in Brisbane from October 24th to 26th.
Although the majority of my audience were in different fields (aphasia, language and brain development in infants, etc.), they showed engagement and curiosity, which made me feel even more passionate about this topic than I normally am.
I was especially happy when two very famous professors in the field of bilingual brain research came to hear about my presentation. I'm very grateful that I got close to them.
It was an awesome three-day conference in Brisbane, and I hope I'll be back there next year! Society for the Neurobiology of Language 2024
