202204.01 Neuroimaging of dialogue mode and its continuation motivation (New research project) Posted in RESEARCH

The motivations for our communication in everyday life are many and varied. Depending on the motives behind the continuation of dialogue, a variety of "modes of dialogue" can be postulated. What kind of dialogue modes are there? What neural mechanisms underlie dialogue motivation and adaptive speech in each mode? This project, which aims to elucidate and apply these questions, has been accepted for the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas (2022-2023) under the title of "Extraction of Dialogue Modes and Brain Imaging of Motivation and Adaptability for Dialogue". Please look forward to the results of our research over the next two years. (Sugiura)
