How Do Working Memory and Language Analytic Influence L2 Grammar Learning？

Working memory (WM) and language analytic ability (LAA) are considered two important cognitive factors when it comes to successful second language learning. Many behavioral studies have demonstrated their importance in predicting successful learning; however, there are little studies investigating the neural correlates of these cognitive factors during learning. In this study, we used fMRI to elucidate the roles of WM and LAA during real-time L2 grammar learning.
