Do the 8 factors of the gpower to liveh with disasters exist in elementary and junior high school students? (paper publication)
Posted in RESEARCH
Eight factors of the "power to live" were extracted based on the views of adult survivors of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake as psycho-behavioral characteristics for overcoming various crises and difficulties in disasters. We investigated whether the concept of these 8 factors also exist in elementary and junior high school students, and found that while leadership, problem-solving, altruism, and emotion regulation were confirmed in elementary school students, some factors, such as stubbornness, were still in the process of formation. For details, please see the article ”Does the eight-factor “power to live” in disaster exist since childhood?” published in Frontiers in Public Health.
