202401.20 Exploring the Psychological and Brain Basis of Adaptive Responses Based on Eight Factors of the Power to Live with Disasters (Symposium Special Lecture) Posted in EVENT

The eight factors of the power to live with disasters revealed in a survey of survivors of the Great East Japan Earthquake revealed the multifaceted nature of adaptive behavior in disasters and the importance of the group context. In addition, the psychological process of tsunami evacuation decision-making was examined through the analysis of individual differences in the power-to-live factors and the behavioral and brain responses of decision-making patterns, revealing a two-step process of decision blockage. Special lecture "Adaptive Psycho-Behavioral Characteristics in Disasters: Eight Factors of the Power to Live with Disasters" was given at the 4th Symposium on Earthquake Reconstruction and Disaster Science in Research Center for Urban Safety and Security, Kobe University.
