202312.13 Memory Misattribution between Self and Other (Poster Presentation) Posted in RESEARCH

Closer relationships can lead to more memory errors between oneself and others, termed as memory misattribution. Interestingly, our study found that this phenomenon is not associated with perceived closeness but correlates with the diversity of shared experiences. This implies that the influence of social relationships on memory is emotionally independent and involves a intricate structure based on past memories and information.
I presented this result at the Young Ensemble of Tohoku University. It was the first time for me to attend an academic meeting, and I value it as a precious experience. (He Xinyi)
