202311.14 The neural presentation of trust decision making Posted in RESEARCH

In our everyday lives, we would like to ask someone we can trust. It is said that trust is based on personal qualities, such as ability, benevolence and similar sense of values.
To clarify the neural correlation between trust level and these quolities, we conducted a fMRI experiment and presented the result at the Society for Neuroscience held in Washington, D.C.

I was impressed by the diversity of fields represented, including psychology, engineering, and physiology relating to the nervous system. Though I felt nervous due to my first international conference, the kindness of the researchers made the experience enjoyable. (Mika Nishio)
