Electric current improves recognition of familiar tools (Paper publication)
Posted in RESEARCH
Can you explain why you can easily recognise so many different objects at your office (scissors, staplers, pens, etc.)? Our study proved that stimulating a few regions in the brain using weak electric current (through a pair of sponge electrodes on the scalp) can improve our recognition of familiar tools. The paper is accepted by Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience.(Ishibashi)
