For society to deal with the spread of corona infection (new research project)

There is a large gap between our perception of coronavirus infection risk and infection prevention activities. Aiming to present guidelines for multifaceted responses to the spread of corona infection, we will undertake research to clarify the cognitive process involved in individual situation adaptation through social research and neuroimaging experiments. Our "Cognitive Neuroscience Approach to the Multifaceted Issues of Cognition and Behavior Concerning Prevention of the Spread of Coronavirus Infection" was selected for the Mitsubishi Foundation's 2020 Special Grant for Natural Science Research (Infectious Diseases).
