202112.27 How do we recognize emotions in detail?(Received gold medal for presentation) Posted in RESEARCH

What kind of brain activity is involved in recognizing one's own emotions in detail?
In this study, we used fMRI to search for brain regions associated with "emotional granularity," which is the ability to recognize one's own emotions in detail. As a result, it was suggested that it may be related to the ability to classify the external world.
I presented our research at the 14th Basic Medical Training Presentation of Tohoku University School of Medicine, and received the gold medal for the presentation. (Miyashita)
