Brain science to stimulate motivation (Conference lecture)

Motivation in the brain is expressed in brain activity as expectations in the reward system and volition in the central executive system, which leads to performance. There are several activation points of motivation in this process, and it seems essential to activate the appropriate point considering the situation and individual differences. I gave a lecture summarizing recent findings of functional brain imaging related to motivation at the 143rd Miyagi Sports Medicine Society. (Sugiura)
