48th Research Committee Presentation Contest Organized by the IDAC - 3rd Place Award
Posted in EVENT
At the 48th Research Committee Presentation Contest Organized by the IDAC, I presented my research on “The neural basis of decision-making based on Dichotomous Belief” and was honored to receive a Special Award as a third-place winner among presentations from 11 research fields.
Selecting and organizing information into a coherent story within a short presentation time, particularly when the main audience consists of people outside my field of expertise, is highly challenging. However, this experience provided a valuable opportunity to develop an essential skill for researchers and, at the same time, served as a meaningful occasion to reflect on my own research from a broader perspective.
In this study, every stage—from research planning and experiment implementation to data analysis—was undertaken for the first time, and reaching this presentation would not have been possible without the support of many individuals. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the faculty members, students, and administrative staff who provided continuous support, as well as to all participants who kindly cooperated in the experiments.
